Netflix Roundup | Motion Graphics

About the project:

"Netflix Roundup" is a personalized motion graphic that would be created as part of a end of year campaign that celebrates your year in streaming.

 

It would be a display of the top genres watched during the year, top movie or show, watch hours and much more in a personalized format but following Netflix’s brand language allowing the user to relive their favorite moments on screen.

Approach 

A survey was proposed to various members of the target audience of Netflix to get an understanding of their experience and engagement with the platform. The following questions were asked and recorded via audio devices or written.

1. How often do you use Netflix (If daily how many hours else how many times a week etc)

 

2. What do you watch more, Movies or tv shows ? 

 

3. Which genre do you prefer the most? Why do you prefer or like that genre?

 

4. Do you explore languages on Netflix ? 

5. Do you watch the things that appear on suggestions or suggested to you on Netflix while scrolling or are you a person who knows what they want to watch then watch it on Netflix 

 

6. Are you an impulsive watcher or plan when you’re gonna watch Netflix everyday ? 

 

7. Why do you Netflix in general or vs other streaming apps ? 

 

8. Is there anything else you’d like to add in terms of how you feel or would describe Netflix ?

Final Deliverable

The final deliverable represented is that of an animated motion graphic video showing the concept of “Netflix Roundup” and accompanying story template formats of how the actual concept would look if it was shown on the app and made available to share across social media such as Instagram.
