Eureka | Brand Identity

About the project:

One of the major issues of our current generation is the lack of availability, approachability and affordability of resources/services for teens & adolescents based in India in the field of sexual health & care.

 

Eureka! Is an organisation that focuses on making sexual health & care an approachable & comfortable topic by providing the following:

  • Consultancy & purchase of products.

  • A safe & attractive space for discussion & awareness.

 

They would initially be made known to the audience through pop-up kiosks in education centers having interactive methods such as Flashcard kits, posters & games.

Primary Logo

The name "Eureka" is a reference to the act of learning, experimenting and discovering. It's origin takes us to Archimedes' act of running nude upon the streets at the time of discovery. This ties into discovering about one's body. 

Secondary Logo

The secondary logo is that of stacked version to create a more compact feeling to allow for more versatility.

Logomark & Icon

The logomark is the circular orientation of the name in a repetitive format.

The icon consists of the stand alone letter "u" to represent "you" as in the consumer as a person and how the brand caters for the youth.

Scale

The scale of the logo is to be reduced by 50 px that of the previous and in multiples of 5 where the minimum size of the logo is of width 50 px.

Hierarchy

The hierarchy specifications ranges from Heading to Body content where the various weights of Roc Grotesk are used specifically Bold for Headings and Regular for body content respectively.

Visual Elements

Illustrations

The illustrations consists of a very minimal, bold style where basic clean shapes are manipulated together to create the various illustrations for the brand. They are also of a solid fill and stroke style (thickness of 5px).

Application

Posters

The poster series is the introduction to the brand's presence in the public such as stalls or kiosks. They peek interest in the consumer via open ended questions.

Flashcards

The primary collateral for the brand is that of the 40 flashcards set to be given to the consumers for basic educational purposes at events and kiosks.

Stickers

Banner Game

As an interactive element at publicizing locations, this banner game tests people's abilities to identify and define various terms related to sexual health and care and as a prize factor provides stickers for completing the search under a specific time limit.
